About Jordan
Jordan Jaffe is a NY based writer, director, and producer. Jordan's plays include: Crude, Whirlwind, Chained (Energy Series). Whirlwind received a world premiere production at the Wild Project (3 New York Innovative Theater Award nominations including Best Premiere Production). Crude received a world premiere production at Theater 511 at Ars Nova, starring Nico Tortorella (TV Land's "Younger"). His pilot "Flow" is a finalist in the scripted drama category at Catalyst Fest 2019.
Jordan has also worked as an associate producer for Partial Comfort Productions. Before moving to New York, Jordan produced plays as the Artistic Director of Black Lab Theatre in Houston, Tx. Jordan's theater directing credits with Black Lab in Texas include Joshua Harmon's Bad Jews (produced with Stages Repertory Theatre and the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston), Kim Rosenstock's Tigers Be Still (Houston Press Award 2014-15 nominee Best Director) Paul Downs Colaizzo's, Really Really, Leslye Headland's Assistance and Jeff Talbott's The Submission. Jordan's further producing credits include David Henry Hwang's Chinglish, Beau Willimon's Farragut North, and Peter Sinn Nachtrieb's boom.
Jordan is a proud graduate of Rice University with a BA in Visual and Dramatic Arts, and has also trained at the Atlantic Acting School in New York. In 2013 Jordan was named to the Houston Press' Top 100 Creatives list of "movers and shakers".
